Thursday Is Yogi

Welcome to my new and first blog. I hope to use it to keep in touch and share my thoughts and experiences on some marginally interesting topics and my retirement.

I started my retirement from Chevron after 37+ years on April 4. About 5 weeks ago the political news was that the Hillary had taken campaign money from the oil industry and she was thoroughly in panic to deny it. I was reflecting on my career at Chevron. I never thought of the oil industry as the business so toxic that even Hillary could not accept money from them. Think about that...Hillary's integrity at stake!

Today is the 10th Anniversary of the Deepwater Horizon blowout that killed 11 people. It is known now as the BP Oil Spill. I've got some things to say about that and the weaponization of our government.

Other topics include political and politically incorrect topics that I would not have put in writing as a Chevron Executive. But I'm gonna do it now. I don't like to be political on FB because people tend to unfriend me when I do so this will be a safer outlet.

The Clampett Mansion, Religion, dogs, baseball, our government as a weapon, marital relations, genealogy,  Billiards, tennis, living in Scotland and Nigeria (twice) golf, boats, beaches, corporate ladders, the Rainbow Coalition, DIY, John Deere, the 2nd amendment and Etc.

That's it. The title is Thursday is Yogi. I will attempt to add a random photo (next time, I'm learning)  and then see if I can actually post this. My coach has her own post as well which is super professional. Check it out here.

Also a good revolutionary war refresher on Paul Revere ride on this anniversary of it here by Ann C

Until next time.
